The buy order: shovel → detector → spray
- Shovel first. Dig power is the main bottleneck — faster digs mean more finds per session. Each shovel also adds walkspeed, so you cover the map quicker.
- Detector second. Once your shovel keeps up with the dig time, raise your detector's luck to pull rarer finds and range to walk less between signals.
- Spray bottle last. Only upgrade cleaning when you have a stack of dirty finds waiting. Early on, cleaning is never the bottleneck.
How to know when to upgrade
- If digs feel slow and you're waiting on the shovel animation → buy the next shovel.
- If your finds are mostly low-value junk → raise detector luck.
- If you're standing around cleaning finds one by one → raise spray power (or buy Instant Clean).
Game passes vs. Gold gear
Six game passes boost stats for Robux: VIP, 2x Gold, 2x Dig Power, Instant Clean, 2x Luck, and 2x Walkspeed. 2x Gold (599 Robux) pays for itself fastest by speeding up every purchase. Gear bought with Gold is the permanent baseline; passes stack on top.
Protect a reserve
Never spend down to zero. Keep a small gold reserve so you can grab the next shovel tier the instant you can afford it — use the gold calculator to check before you buy.
