Dig and Clean Selling Guide

Most finds get sold — but the rarest ones belong in your museum. Here's the decision rule.

The sell vs. keep rule

  1. Clean every find first. You can't judge value until the dirt is off.
  2. Check the rarity. Common junk and duplicates → sell for Gold without hesitation.
  3. Keep the rarest. If it's your best example of a rare type and you have an empty museum slot, display it.
  4. Sell the rest. Anything that doesn't improve your museum goes for Gold.

Why the museum matters

Your museum is the long-term goal. Filling empty display slots gives you a reason to hunt for specific rare finds instead of selling everything. A curated museum is the flex — Gold comes and goes, but a complete display is permanent.

Protect a gold reserve

Selling everything the moment you dig it up leaves you broke when the next shovel tier unlocks. Keep a small gold buffer so you can grab upgrades on the spot. Use the gold calculator to see how much is safe to spend.

2x Gold makes selling pay double

The 2x Gold game pass (599 Robux) doubles what every sale is worth. If you're grinding hard for gear, it's the pass that speeds up every purchase the most.
